Contact should be controlled
Hand washing gives the detailer control over pressure, tools, and the order of work. Clean wash media, sensible sectioning, and careful drying all reduce unnecessary contact with the finish.
Tell the team what concerns you
If you notice sap, bugs, water spotting, heavy wheel buildup, or a specific finish concern, mention it in the request and attach a close photo. A quote is more useful when it reflects the vehicle in front of you rather than a generic package description.
